Odes

Odes is a solo honoring all the ways in which nothing is really ever a solo. In this work, I embody three significant mentors/collaborators who have shaped the artist I am today. The piece is a thank you note, a reflection, and an exploration of identity. I researched their influence through embodied improvisations, accumulation, repetition, text, and writing.
